Kenny Knoll
Producer and Lead Sound Engineer
Pedal Steel Guitar, Lead Guitar and Vocals

It's no wonder that Kenny's fascination for music appeared at an early age since both his parents were musical talents in their own right. Their encouragement and support of Kenny's musical interest laid the foundation for exposure to such influential musical talents as Johnny Cash, James Burton, and Jimmy Day; each having a uniqueness about them which caught Kenny's attention.

By age 15, Kenny's diligence and dedication had paid off and he began teaching others to play the guitar. A local music icon, Charlie "Curley" Fields recognized Kenny's potential and began mentoring him. This would prove invaluable to Kenny as he began to develop his own unique style of fingerpicking and learned to play heart-wrenching melodies on the pedal steel guitar as well. This would become his signature sound throughout his career.

In his youth, Kenny performed in local Milwaukee-based groups such as The Grand Prix's and the Kentuckians. Only a few short years later, he found himself playing alongside the likes of the late Howie Epstein, who later became the bass guitarist for the rock group, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.

Kenny pursued his musical ambitions by performing in various traveling road groups that eventually led him to Nashville, Tennessee. During this time, he played with Nashville Package Shows, where his talents caught the attention of such greats as Faron Young, Ferlin Husky, The Browns, Carl Smith, Crystal Gayle, Marty Robbins and Dottie West. His uncanny ability to hear even the slightest imperfections and constant pursuit of excellence gave him a unique quality highly sought after by his peers.

After years of touring with these music legends, Kenny finally decided that it was time to come home to Milwaukee to settle down and raise a family. Although he was no longer touring, he never lost touch with his love for music. Kenny continued to perform with locally popular groups such as Bill & June Spaulding, The Lonesome Highway Band, and Bull Session. Kenny is currently involved in several other music-related projects.

Kenny is a consummate musician whose passion for music continues to shine at every performance.

He was recognized by band members for his keen abilities in set up and perfecting great sound at their performances. Years ago, with a love for music and a desire to show case the talent of the musicians he played with, he began recording these bands and his friends using Cakewalk and Steinberg's Q Base. It only seemed natural to further his interest in recording by developing a top notch, state of the art studio and therefore help musicians at all levels of experience to live their dream of being recorded to further their careers or simply to share with their family and friends the music they create and love so much.
